New LIFE RING Makes Waves At Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show

New USCG Approved LIFE RING Makes Waves At Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS)

USCG Approved rescue LIFE RING™ buoy developed by eLifeguard.com was on display at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida this past month.  eLifeguard.com, a leading manufacturer of lifesaving and rescue products located in Rockledge, Florida developed the new lifesaving device.  The company’s other products include EVERONDACK® brand lifeguard chairs and the LIFE™ Rescue Tube which is used by lifeguards.

The new LIFE RING is an improvement when compared to the decades old vinyl-dipped ring buoy that is subject to fade, cracking, and ungluing of the rope beckets. The new RING is made of closed-cell foam which does not absorb water or fluids even when punctured. The LIFE RING also has a great new feature that are called LIFE GRIPS™ which are molded into the product and allow for improved ability to easily grab hold of and hang onto the RING. First introduced by eLifeguard.com as a feature of its industry changing LIFE Rescue Tube, the LIFE GRIP has propelled that product to be the standard rescue device for lifeguards all across the United States and around the World.
