Reports say the lifeguard administered CPR on the child for twenty nerve-racking minutes before he regained a pulse before getting transferred to Son Espases Hospital in Palma. The drama happened around 4.30pm on Tuesday at the four-star Condesa de La Bahia Hotel overlooking Alcudia Bay in the north east of the island. Investigations are on-going to discover what really happened. In the meantime, the boy is said to be responding to treatment.
