About Surfing Santas / www.surfingsantas.org

In December 2009, George Trosset went surfing dressed as Santa with his son and daughter-in-law dressed as elves. Over the past six years, the event has grown from a family day at the beach into a local community event. In 2014, the fun included nearly 300 Surfing Santas, 18 skydiving Santas, 4000 spectators, and $20,000 in donations for local charities.
