Cocoa Beach Approves LIFE™ Rescue Stations!

Cocoa Beach LIFE Rescue Station
The City of Cocoa Beach, Florida Commission unanimously approved Thursday installation of up to 35 LIFE™ Rescue Stations along the beach. One LIFE™ Rescue Station will be installed at each beach access point that does not currently a lifeguard tower. After much discuss, the city commission decided that the move has a great potential to save lives. The stations were developed to provide a Cocoa Beach LIFE Rescue Stationlifesaving opportunity in locations where no lifeguards are available due to issues such as budget constraints and lack of qualified personnel.
The LIFE™ Rescue Project that developed the lifesaving stations, complete with a rescue tube device and instructions to reach it out to a drowning victim, has plans to eventually locate them at a wide variety of swimming locations throughout the United States and abroad.
